Izola has the most diverse beaches in Slovenia. Out of a total of more than 40 km of the Slovenian coast, to Izola belongs a little more than 8 km of the coast, where there are natural or wild beaches, beaches with the most beautiful views of the Alps
Cycling
On the Slovenian coast, you can spend a healthy holiday on two bikes and see the beauties and sights of Slovenian Istria and beyond. Numerous themed bike trails lead along roads and paths in nature.
Excursions
The Path of health and friendship runs along the former narrow-gauge railway line Parenzana, which connected Trieste and Poreč and became a symbol of friendship between Slovenian, Italian and Croatian municipalities.
Hiking
As cyclists, hikers or riders, set out on a journey to discover the natural heritage, water resources or the history of the old Parenzana railway line and enjoy the autumn colors of the woods that embrace the old Istrian villages.
Fishing
In Izola, free fishing from the coast is possible all year round. It is also possible to rent a boat in the nearby marina and try fishing from a boat for larger fish, which already requires a permit. A whole range of delicious fish can be caught; mackerel, cuttlefish, squid, gilthead sea bream…

Various sports activities are possible in Izola. Both on land and at sea. At sea you can surf, kitesurf or go surfing with a board, sup to explore the coast from the sea. Especially outside the main tourist season, in autumn and winter, winds are suitable for surfing or kitesurfing.

Sea View Terrace Apartment Izola
Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und verfügt über eine Klimaanlage. Sie ist sauber, gepflegt und mit allem ausgestattet, auch mit einer Waschmaschine. Der Balkon ist sehr groß, man kann das Meer sehen. Ein Parkplatz für das Auto gehört dazu, Fahrräder können sicher abgestellt werden. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt.Das Meer ist nur 1min entfernt und lädt mit seinem klaren Wasser ein. Der Weg zum kleinen Hafen beträgt 10 min zu Fuß. Die Vermieter Marina und Ales sind sehr freundlich und geben zahlreiche Tipps. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Very beautiful apartment with sea view from the terrace and walking distance from city center and beach. Good air conditioning, so always enjoyable room temperature, no matter the outside temperature. Parking on the yard of the apartment possible, which is a huge advantage.

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen Sackgasse in der Nähe von zwei Supermärkten (Mercator und Hofer (Aldi in Slowenien)). Bedachter ausgewiesener Parkplatz, separate sichtgeschützte Terrasse, klimatisierte Wohnzimmer, Vorraum für Lagerung von Schuhen, Koffern, Gegenständen, große Schränke und große Räume, sehr gute WLAN, viele Fernsehprogramme, Waschmaschine, Bügeleisen, Wäschetrockner, Sandwichmacher, Offen, Fön, sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeber mit vielen Informationen über Izola (man braucht gar nicht in Touristencenter zu gehen, alle nötige Broschüren sind vor Ort), sehr nette Nachbarn. Hunde sind willkommen (sowohl in der Unterkunft, als auch auf den Stränden, Restaurants und in Slowenien insgesamt).

Bardzo miły i pomocny gospodarz. Zawsze i szybko odpowiadał na pytania Obiekt przestronny, idealny dla rodziny. Wyposażony we wszystko co potrzebne. Lokalizacja idealna, odległość od centrum zapewnia wieczorną ciszę ale jednocześnie krótki spacer pozawala na dotarcie do centrum. Bardzo blisko kawiarnie i markety. Zadaszone miejsce parkingowe. Szczerze polecam na dłuższy rodzinny pobyt w Izoli.

Tolles sauberes Appartement mit Terrasse, fussläufig zum Hafen und zum Strand dennoch ruhig gelegen. Für 2 Personen perfekt. Vielen Dank an die Vermieter für den freundlichen Empfang und die guten Tipps. 2 Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, 2 Cafes zum Frühstücken direkt nebenan. Carport und Möglichkeiten Fahrrädern sicher abzustellen Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen.

The apartement is fully equiped! You can find there everything you need starting with towels, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, and even an extra mobile phone. It is perfectly located, just 5 minutes walk from the beach, where are plenty of bars, shops, and restaurants. The beach is also adapted for disabled. The apartement itself is perfect. the host is soooo caring that we felt like home there.

Appartment is well located – just near the seaside, in the second row of villas, in the old part of Isola – only 3 mins walk from the neariest beach and approx. 5-7 mins from the port with all restaurants, pubs etc. There’s a really “sea view” terrace! Hosts are really nice, helpful and responsive. The flat is equipped with all necessary stuff, incl. dishwasher, washing machine and AC. Parking place is just downstairs. It is not indicated in the info, but there is a coffee maker 🙂

Everything was perfect. The hosts are kind and helpful. The flat is beautiful and well equipped, with tv and air conditionning in both rooms. The flat was ideal for 3 people, but would perhaps be a bit too small for 4. The flat is in the very center, only at a 3-4 minutes walk from the beach.

Die Wohnung war rundum sehr schön für einen Urlaub in Izola, alles neu, super sauber, ein netter Empfang und auch persönlicher Abschied durch den Vermieter, zentral gelegen für tägliche Stadtbummels und auch Strandgänge. Beim Check In bekamen wir sogar gleich Tipps zu guten Restaurants. An der Wohnung gibt es nichts zu bemängeln.
